Homework March 1-5

6th grade:
Monday: Read books and complete KWL chart to accompany book
Tuesday: Read books and write 10 questions about what you are reading
Wednesday: Read books and answer the 5 assigned questions in a paragraph.
Thursday: Read books; hyperbole / root story with 10 roots underlined (the roots are: pre, post, mono, poly, tri, quad, uni, sub, super, com)
Friday: Root test!

7th grade:
Monday: Book test on Where the Red Fern Grows or Down the Rabbit Hole
Tuesday: First draft of hyperbole story
Wednesday: Final draft of hyperbole story
Thursday: Root story using and underlining 10 root words
Friday: Root test

8th grade:
Monday: First draft of hyperbole story
Tuesday: Final draft of hyperbole story
Wednesday: Hero myth introduction
Thursday: Root story using and underlining 15 root words
Friday: Root test and semi-colon/colon test

Thursday: Use 8 root words in a story; read for 20 minutes and write 5 predictions
Friday: Root quiz; finish book over the weekend test on Monday!

7th grade:
