Homework March 22-26th

All Grades:

Monday: Finish root flashcards. You need the root on one side and the definition and four root-words on the other side. The roots are geo, hyper, pod, and photo!
Tuesday: Finish 4-square on the question: What would you do with a million dollars? Put one idea in each of the four boxes and three WOW words in each box


6th grade:
Wednesday: Write your three body paragraphs for your essay on what you would do with one million dollars.
Thursday: Using the question starters worksheet, write 30 points worth of questions about the book you are reading!

7th grade:
Wednesday: Write all three body paragraphs for your essay on what you would do with a million dollars.
Thursday: Write the introduction and conclusion paragraphs for your essay!

8th grade:
Wednesday: Write all three body paragraphs for your essay on what you would do with a million dollars.

Monday: Identify the parts of a story in the picture book we read in class today; read 20 minutes in your books tonight
Tuesday: Identify the parts of a story in the second picture book; read your books for 20 minutes tonight
Wednesday: Use thrilling three topic sentences and WOW words to complete the first draft of a letter to your hero; read for 20 minutes
Thursday: Complete the final draft of a letter to your hero; read book for 20 minutes tonight
Friday: 10 question quiz on semi-colons (;) and colons (:) today!
